Reformation Lutheran Church has been a fixture in the Earlewood Community for over 80 years and has been a part of the lives of many community residents for decades. The congregation has recently made a commitment to reach out to its community with a renewed sense of responsibility and hope. Reformation is investigating the possibility of becoming a Reconciling in Christ congregation, a congregation which offers a specific Affirmation of Welcome to members of the Gay and Lesbian community. In addition, a new service of worship is being planned for this fall which will incorporate more contemporary praise music as the foundation of the service. The use of a choral ensemble, drums, guitars and other instruments will also be an integral part of the worship.
