Historic Earlewood

Recycling Program

Recycling Program

Those who live within the Columbia city limits now have a way to recycle old electronics, such as computers, printers, televisions, microwave ovens, hair dryers, etc. Simply drop them off between 9:30am and 3:00pm any weekday (except Wednesday) at the Department of Public Works at Slighs Avenue, just off Colonial Drive and Harden Street Extension, near Palmetto Health Richland. You also can keep cardboard and paper out of the landfill by placing them in appropriate receptacles behind DHEC on Bull Street. Questions? Call Martha Mason, your friendly Earlewood recycler, at 252-4584 or 606-3190.
